Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan in an opinion piece written for Arab News in 2002 lays down an articulate and compelling argument on the difference between the way the Elite Class and the common man have had in terms of understanding their religion and their overall approach. He puts out personal experiences on how class difference and education spectrums have divided and corrupted perceptions of Islam. He beseeches everyone to understand the fundamentals of Islam in its totality and make calculated approaches based on full understandings of it. He explains how Islam is a progressive religion which preaches peace, tolerance, and inclusiveness. That Muslims have responsibilities towards each other, humanity and their God. Belief in God erases the fear of everything else and elevates human beings self esteem and self belief.
