Preventive Health & Safety Practices (PHSP) Training Program For Child Care Providers By Palm Desert Resuscitation Education LLC (PDRE) is designed to meet the training needs of child care providers in almost all U.S states while also being a comprehensive resource for parents, grandparents, teachers, babysitters or anyone responsible for the safety of children. Combining online and hands-on skill components, this one-stop-shop course teaches child care providers and parents critical first aid skills, ranging from how to create a safe environment to preventing injuries in the first place, to lifesaving CPR. Health & Safety Training For Child Care Providers: Per the California rules and regulations presently, providers in child care centers and family child care homes must complete at least 16 hours of training about health and safety before they are allowed to be child care providers. This comprehensive and preventative health training comprises of Pediatric First Aid, Infant/Child/Adult Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Preventive Health Practices. California Requirements for Child Care ProvidersThere must be at least one director or teacher at each site. Family childcare licensees and co-licensees must fulfill the vital California Child Care training.
