One License - Multiple Freezones: Dubai’s New Business Model​

The Dubai Free Zones Council has introduced the One Freezone Passport, allowing companies licensed in one Dubai free zone to seamlessly operate in others without requiring separate trade licenses. This new framework enables businesses to expand across Dubai’s free zones using a single license, dramatically reducing time and operational costs. Companies can set up offices, warehouses, or R&D hubs wherever needed, maximizing the unique benefits of each zone—such as JAFZA for logistics or DWTC for global prestige—under one unified operational structure. The model’s effectiveness is illustrated by Louis Vuitton, which combined warehousing in JAFZA with a corporate office in DWTC, completing the entire process in just five days.
